Black Arts MKE is committed to increasing the availability and quality of African American arts and culture that transforms our community.
We're making a difference by providing aspirational lift for youth of color in our community. We annually serve over 15,000 youth and their families impacting 11 MKE aldermanic districts and representing 14 zip codes through culturally relevant arts education and outreach programs.
We provide economic lift and artistic growth opportunities for professional and emerging artists of color. Visibility and access to the mainstream arts sector has resulted in actual career advancement for talented artists throughout Milwaukee’s performing arts venues.
